Thank you!

We, the Board of Directors of the MCHM would like to thank the Martin County Chamber of Commerce for awarding the museum the Business of the Month for June 2019. We greatly appreciate the award and hope that as we continue to improve the museum and its exhibits, that we can contribute to a greater degree towards the business of Martin County.

What a couple of months! When we first really noticed the Connell House settling, water damage on the inside because the trees needles and leaves not allowing the rain water to drain off the roof, to break in, it has been a couple of busy months. We are working on getting the foundation fixed and thanks the City Council we now have the tree problem fixed at the Connell House. Thank you so much Jessie, and the members of the City Council, without you we could have lost the Connell House.  Thank you, just seem so inadequate!
