My first ancestors arrived in Martin County in 1884; deep roots were established, and it’s just “Home” to me. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Preserving the county’s history is so important. Stanton has an amazing museum, and I am so blessed to be a part of it.
With a BA in history I have a passion for the written and oral history of Martin County. My great grandfather arrived in Martin County in 1902 from Mitchell County.
